Competitors The Competitors page helps you monitor competitor mentions across Reddit and understand your share of voice in AI recommendations.

Viewing Competitors

The competitors table shows:

Adding Competitors

Click + Add Competitor to track a new competitor:
  1. Enter the competitor name
  2. Optionally add additional keywords (product names, common misspellings)
  3. Click Save
karmafarm.co will start monitoring Reddit for mentions of this competitor.

Research Competitors

Click Research Competitors to discover competitors you might be missing. The AI analyzes your market and suggests relevant competitors to track.

Share of Voice

Share of Voice Chart The Share of Voice section shows how competitors compare to each other in Reddit mentions. Note: Share of Voice tracks competitor mentions only. Your own brand’s visibility is tracked separately through your monitored keywords in the Posts section.

How It Works

karmafarm.co searches Reddit for mentions of you and your competitors, then calculates the percentage of conversations each brand appears in.

Metrics

  • Total Mentions: Combined mentions across all tracked competitors
  • Your Share: Percentage of mentions that include your brand
  • Competitor Breakdown: Visual chart showing each competitor’s share

Refresh Data

Click Refresh to run a new analysis. This searches recent Reddit posts for competitor mentions and updates the chart.

Clear Data

Click Clear Data to reset the share of voice analysis. Useful if you’ve significantly changed your competitor list.

Best Practices

  1. Track 3-5 direct competitors - Too many dilutes the analysis
  2. Include product variations - Add common misspellings and abbreviations
  3. Refresh weekly - Keep data current with regular updates
  4. Act on gaps - Prioritize posts where competitors are mentioned but you’re not
