Good Subreddits to Monitor
- Product category communities: r/productivity, r/software
- Industry-specific: r/projectmanagement, r/smallbusiness
- Problem-focused: r/ADHD, r/getdisciplined
- Recommendation requests: r/SuggestALaptop, r/AskReddit
Subreddits to Avoid
- Very broad subreddits (too much noise)
- Communities with strict self-promotion rules
- Inactive subreddits (< 1 post/day)
Best Practices
- Start with 5-10 subreddits - Expand as you learn what works
- Balance size and relevance - Smaller niche communities often convert better
- Check community rules - Some subreddits prohibit promotional content
- Monitor activity - Focus on subreddits with high engagement
